About the Instructor:

Master Dance Instructor John C. Howard VII was once asked, “Why do you teach dance?”  He replied, “Three reasons.  First, I have to do what is in me.  Second, I want to help bring more joy into the world.  Third, I want to save people from rhythmic incompetence.”

Class requirements:

Smile (in case you mess up you will still look happy)

Sense of humor (you will need to be able to laugh at yourself)

Willingness to learn (being coachable is the only way to learn anything)

What people are saying…

“I learned as much about relationships as I did salsa, and I learned a lot of salsa.  Awesome class!  Even more awesome instructor!”  Thanks, John.  –Cynthia Greene

“John said it and by the end of the class I knew it was true: ‘Salsa truly is a metaphor for life.’”  --Maria  Hutchinson

“Thoreau and Emerson must have been transcendentalists who were dance teachers, because John is a dance teacher who must be a transcendentalist.  His examples brought every move to life.”  --Eric Frazier
